America's National Council of Legislators from Gaming States (NCLGS) has recently launched a public consultation on the development of a policy framework to regulate interstate online gaming.

NCLGS has a membership consisting of lawmakers from all 50 US states and the District of Columbia, and seeks to develop effective regulations for gambling while remaining neutral on the activity.

It has partnered with the University of Nevada, Las Vegas International Gaming Institute, to launch the consultation to help develop a "sound and balanced policy framework" for internet gaming.
