The long-running and controversial process to award Germany’s twenty federal sports betting licences is likely to be delayed until the fourth quarter of the year, a number of sources have suggested.

One legal source said that the licences will most likely to be issued in Q4 2014 at the earliest, and possibly not before 2015.
