The UK's Department of Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) has confirmed that it will launch a review of its policy towards fixed odds betting terminals (FOBTs) with findings expected to be published before Easter.

The department denied media reports published over the weekend that the launch of a crackdown on FOBTs was due to be announced this week, but admitted that it will launch a review and aim to publish its findings before Easter (April 18th).
