The wagering platform designed by Gamblit Gaming to allow developers to add iGaming mechanics to their games has moved a step closer to being rolled out in the UK after it was certified by testing lab Gaming Laboratories International (GLI).
Gamblit’s wagering platform, random number generator and first game were all approved by GLI for use in the UK market following testing of each component, source code analysis, and information security compliance to ensure that the product meets the UK’s regulatory requirements. However, the company is yet to receive a UK gambling licence.
“The GLI certification of our new platform is a validation of the company's technology and a major step forward,” Gamblit chief executive Eric Meyehofer commented. “We plan to release groundbreaking entertainment in real money gaming and look forward to our launch in the UK.”
The company’s solution is similar to that offered by the likes of CashBet and Betable in that it enables smaller developers to monetise games and tap into the online gaming market through a software development kit that can be integrated into their games. It can also provide developers with a development kit, similar to Odobo, that can be used to develop real-money products.
Gamblit's UK certification follows its recent approval as a distributor, manufacturer of gaming devices, manufacturer of interactive gaming systems, and an interactive gaming service provider by the Nevada Gaming Commission.
