Swedish games developer and platform provider NYX Gaming Group has secured a licence from the Gibraltar Gambling Commission.

The B2B Remote Gambling Licence enables NYX to supply its iGaming products such as NextGen Gaming slots and third-party content to Gibraltar-licensed operators.

The award of the licence also sees NYX commercial manager David Johnson named as general manager for Gibraltar.

“We are delighted to have been awarded our remote gambling license in Gibraltar, which will continue to allow NYX Gaming Group to provide the best e-gaming content to our partners in their most relevant jurisdictions,” said Johnson.

“An exciting Autumn awaits as we begin to see content go live in Gibraltar, whilst elsewhere in the business we look forward to the release of marquee new NextGen slots games Judge Dredd & Foxin’ Wins Again.”

NYX becomes the latest supplier to secure a B2B licence in the jurisdiction, following the licence awarded to Realistic Games in March.

Aside from Realistic six additional pure B2B licences have been awarded to Scientific Games, its Williams Interactive subsidiary, Bally Technologies and SHFL Interactive, as well as IGT and Odobo. The Amaya-owned Ongame and IGT’s new owner GTECH have also been approved, but hold standard casino licences.
