Twenty-four employees of Atlantic City's Taj Mahal casino have been arrested during a protest against the venue's owner Trump Entertainment Resorts which is attempting to cancel payments to the casino workers union healthcare and pension funds.

The twenty-four employees taken into custody were members of the UNITE HERE Local 54 union who blocked traffic in a sit-down protest last night at the intersection of Arkansas and Arctic Avenues and refused to move when asked by police.
