Spain's gambling regulator has revealed that a total of twelve new operators have filed applications to enter the Spanish online gaming market under the new licence tender which closed on Tuesday.

The Dirección General de Ordenación del Juego (DGOJ) said that twelve new operators have requested a total of twenty general licences - nine for betting and eleven for other games - and thirty-two specific product licences.
