A goalkeeper for a leading Scottish football club has been charged with multiple breaches of the Scottish Football Association’s (SFA) laws which ban footballers from placing any bets on matches.
Steve Simonsen, the 35-year old goalkeeper for Scottish Championship club Rangers FC, has been issued with a notice of complaint from the SFA’s compliance officer Vincent Lunny.
