New Jersey Senators Raymond Lesniak and Jim Whelan have reiterated their opposition to the Sheldon Adelson backed House Bill 707, The Restoration of America's Wire Act (RAWA), urging lawmakers to oppose the bill that would deprive states of their ability to regulate online gaming.

In an open letter the senators argue that “not only would this bill do nothing to curb unlawful online gaming, it would push dangerous black market vendors further into the shadows, putting adult consumers and children at even greater risk”.
