Two former presidents of Spanish football club Osasuna, together with four former board members, have been arrested following an investigation into the disappearance of more than €2.4m from the club’s accounts.

All six were arrested late last week on charges of misappropriation of funds, false account, falsifying documents and corruption, following a ruling by a regional court in Pamplona, northern Navarra.
