A report published by Rutgers University has recommended that responsible gaming controls be tightened for licensed operators in New Jersey, in order to better protect players in the state.

It calls for responsible gaming information to be incorporated into the sign-up process to ensure it is properly read and understood by players, as well as suggesting that a new, standardised format for responsible gaming controls across all sites be introduced.
