Romania’s National Lottery is facing charges for allegedly operating unlicensed slot machines in the country over an eight year period.

The country’s Court of Appeal claims that the lottery operated a total of 6,263 unlicensed devices between 2006 and 2014, generating more than RON463m (€105m) that the court now wants to recover.
