As many as one in three French minors claim to have gambled at least once in the past year according to a newly released study into the prevalence of gambling in France.

The annual survey carried out by the national monitoring centre for drugs and drug addiction (OFDT) and the French Games Observatory (ODJ) found that 32.9 per cent of the 665 children surveyed had gambled in the past year, with the majority doing so in traditional retail outlets.
