Spanish online gaming regulator La Dirección General de Ordenación del Juego (DGOJ) has licenced ten new operators to launch in the market.

A total of 25 licensees, including high-profile operators such as William Hill, PokerStars, 888, and the Intertain-owned Gamesys Spain, have been granted approval to operate slot games, the first time the product can legally be offered in the country via the internet. 

A number of casino games suppliers have also been approved to launch their games in the Spanish market for the first time, such as NetEnt and Merkur Interactive Malta, a subsidiary of German gaming giant Gauselmann Group...
