Having recently secured a licence in Israel, London-listed spread betting and CFD provider Plus500 has further expanded its reach after receiving a new operating licence in New Zealand.
The Cyprus-based company confirmed that the Financial Markets Authority, the New Zealand government agency responsible for financial regulation, granted Plus500's Australian operating subsidiary with a derivatives issuer licence.
This enables Plus500AU Pty Ltd to operate an online trading platform for retail customers to trade CFDs (Contract for Differences) in New Zealand.
