Davor Suker, Croatia’s record goal-scorer and president of the country’s football federation, has denied reports linking him with two men involved in Europe’s biggest match-fixing scandal in 2009.

German media reports had implicated Suker with Ante Sapina and Mario Cvrtak, two of the key figures jailed for match-fixing by a Bochum court in 2011 for fixing around 50 games across Europe.
