Operators hoping for Australia to repeal its prohibition on in-play betting will find out next year whether they will be able to offer the product after former New South Wales Premier Barry O’Farrell completed his review into illegal iGaming operations targeting Australian consumers.

O’Farrell has delivered his review to the Minister for Communications, Senator Mitch Fifield and Assistant Minister for Social Services Alan Tudge, with the findings to be kept secret until the government has considered and formulated responses to its key points.

The responses and O’Farrell’s findings will be published simultaneously.
