New York lawmaker Gary Pretlow has resubmitted a bill to legalise online poker in the state, predicting that the move would boost tax revenue and generate up to $100m in licensing fees for state coffers.

Assemblyman Pretlow reintroduced A9045 which would amend the state’s Racing, Pari-Mutuel Wagering and Breeding Law to add in article 14, authorizing the New York State Gaming Commission to licence certain entities to offer online poker.
