Connecticut's Attorney General has warned state lawmakers that there is a substantial risk that the passage of legislation authorizing daily fantasy sports contests could jeopardize the state’s revenue sharing arrangements with the Manshantucket Pequot Tribal Nation (MPTN) and the Mohegan Tribe of Indians of Connecticut.

In a formal opinion addressed to Senate President Martin Looney and Senate Majority Leader Bob Duff, AG George Jepsen noted that the state’s Committee on Finance, Revenue and Bonding favourably reported out legislation earlier this month which would regulate DFS contests.
