Idaho has become the latest US state to bar real-money daily fantasy sports contests after attorney general Lawrence Wasden said that the activity constitutes illegal gambling under state law.

Wasden has been reviewing the legality of daily fantasy sports (DFS) contests since the start of the year, reaching an agreement with leading operators DraftKings and FanDuel to cease real-money contests in the state after three months of negotiations.
