Betting and football organisations in the Czech Republic have come together with the national police to create a system to prevent fraud and match-fixing, which they say will enable them to respond to suspicious betting activity within tens of minutes. At the same time lawmakers are seeking to amend legislation to prohibit foreign gambling operators from advertising their services to Czech residents.
