The Dutch Administrative Appeals Court has finally established that the country’s financial regulator Autoriteit Financiële Markten (AFM) should not have rejected binary options provider Optieclub’s application for a licence, meaning the operator can now offer its services in the Netherlands.
The court’s ruling confirmed Optieclub’s financial licence under the Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (MiFID), after the operator’s original approval was rejected.
