The UK Gambling Commission is set to introduce a new licence fee structure in April 2017 that it says will benefit the majority of operators.

The new fee structure, which is based on operators’ gross gambling yield, is expected to result in a reduction in fees for around 1,900 operators, with a further 1,000 seeing little or no change. For around 75 operators the new structure will mean an increase in fees.
