ClubsNSW has agreed a deal with Australian betting operator CrownBet to update and modernise its in-venue wagering experience, although the news has provoked a strong response from Tabcorp which has warned the clubs that they may be in breach of the country’s law.

CrownBet, which is 67 per owned by Crown Resorts, described the ten-year tie-up as a “groundbreaking” partnership for the provision of digital wagering services in New South Wales (NSW) clubs.

It follows an extensive wagering review and tender process by ClubsNSW, the industry body for registered clubs which represents more than 1,200 member clubs across the state.
