West Virginia’s licensed sportsbooks have collected total sports betting stakes of $99.3m in the six month period since the opening of the regulated market last September.
After Penn National Gaming’s Hollywood Casino at Charles Town Races became the first sportsbook to accept wagers on 1 September, the state’s five licensed casinos took a total of $99.3m in wagers for the six months ended 30 March.
