A Dutch court in The Hague has rejected Betsson's appeal against the country's online gaming ban, ruling that it will remain in place until new iGaming legislation passes into law.

In a ruling Thursday, the court said that the iGaming ban is legal, despite long delays in the passage of the Netherlands new Gaming Act.

It ruled that the zero-tolerance policy towards unlicensed online gaming operators targeting Dutch players is legal and should continue until the new laws are brought into force.
