Senator's in Pennsylvania have voted in favour of a bill that will significantly expand the state's gaming industry in order to address its budget shortfall.

Senators voted 31-19 in favour of House Bill 271, which authorises internet gaming, internet lottery sales, fantasy sports and a number of other gaming activities. However, the House failed to reach agreement on the bill during deliberations late Wednesday and is expected to pick up the debate today.
