Efforts to limit gambling opportunities in the Argentinean province of Buenos Aires continue to intensify, with a number of venues facing closure.

As part of renewed efforts to prevent the proliferation of gambling, Buenos Aires' governor María Eugenia Vidal announced Wednesday that she has ordered the closure of three casinos and a bingo hall, ahead of a planned tender to re-award concessions to operate 3,900 slot machines across seven Buenos Aires casino properties.
