ElectraWorks, the UK-licensed subsidiary for GVC Holdings' former bwin.party brands, has been fined £350,000 by the UK Gambling Commission for repeatedly misleading consumers with free bonus offers.

The company was found to have failed to comply with the Committee of Advertising Practice (CAP) and Broadcast Committee of Advertising Practice (BCAP) codes on a number of occasions, in relation to free bet and bonus offers. It was also given a formal warning for having its marketing office led by an individual without the relevant regulatory certification.
