ESSA highlights tennis issues after flagging 44 betting alerts in Q2

Sports betting integrity body ESSA has revealed that it recorded a total of 62 suspicious betting alerts from its members during the second quarter of 2018 across eight different sports.

Tennis once again dominated with 44 betting alerts, up from 27 alerts in the first quarter, followed by football with 12, although ESSA confirmed that there were no instances raised during the recent FIFA World Cup.
