Slovakia's ministry of finance has hailed the success of its blacklisting efforts against unlicensed online gaming sites, with more than half of all targeted operators withdrawing their services from the country.
From the date of the first Slovakian blacklist in July 2017 through to mid-August 2018, the ministry has taken action against 490 websites which it deemed to be serving Slovak citizens without the appropriate local authorisation.
