With Sweden’s re-regulated gambling market set to open in two weeks, the country’s gambling regulator has issued a statement reminding operators that the new Swedish law makes no provision for temporary license approval.

Regulatory authority Lotteriinspektionen, soon to be renamed Spelinspektionen, issued the statement in response to enquiries from multiple operators about the possibility to launch in the market, pending final license approval.
