Sweden’s Football Association has filed a legal challenge against the country’s newly-issued sports betting licenses, causing confusion ahead of the opening of the re-regulated Swedish gambling market on January 1st.

The governing body of football in Sweden, Svenska Fotbollförbundet, is attempting to exert influence over the type of bets that operators may offer, and the matches that they may be offered on.
