Gibraltar-based lottery betting operator Lottoland has been licensed by the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA).

The MGA has issued two licenses to Lottoland, a B2B Critical Supply License and a B2C Gaming Service License, enabling the company to serve both operators and consumers from Malta.

Lottoland Ltd. incorporated as a company in Malta in January of this year, ahead of the UK and Gibraltar’s planned exit from the European Union at the end of this month.

The Malta license approval adds to the company’s portfolio of licenses in the United Kingdom, Gibraltar, Republic of Ireland, Australia’s Northern Territory, Italy and Sweden.
