Dutch gambling regulator De Kansspelautoriteit (KSA) has published draft guidelines relating to operators’ ‘Duty of Care’ to protect players from problem gambling.

The draft guidelines outline the minimum measures to be taken by licensed operators to adequately protect consumers.

The regulator noted that the country’s recently approved Betting and Gaming Act stated that operators would have a ‘Duty of Care’ to players, and included concrete stipulations on actions to be taken with regard to the prevention of gambling addiction.
