The UK’s Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) and Gambling Commission (UKGC) have concluded their joint programme of work concerning suspected breaches of consumer protection law in the online gambling sector.

The CMA previously launched enforcement action against gaming operators in June 2017 over the use of unfair terms and conditions in bonus promotions, and in March 2018 against operators that unfairly restricted the withdrawal of funds by players.
