Octoplay is preparing to launch its online casino games in the United States for the first time after obtaining a provisional license in Michigan.
The approval from the Michigan Gaming Control Board expands Octoplay’s North American presence, with its slots having gone live in the Canadian province of Ontario earlier this year.
The company said the Michigan provisional license marks a key first step in introducing Octoplay’s slot portfolio to the American market.
“Obtaining the Michigan provisional license marks the beginning of our entry into the United States, a key market for our future growth,” said Octoplay chairman Gavin Hamilton. “We look forward to bringing our premium products and games to American players, starting in Michigan.
“While we’ve seen great success in European markets recently, our entry into the US represents a new chapter for Octoplay. We’re committed to establishing a strong presence in the American iGaming landscape, leveraging our experience in regulated markets to deliver exceptional gaming experiences to US players and operators.”
