Latvia’s gambling regulator has asked the Ministry of
Justice to provide guidance and clarity on emergency measures adopted Friday to
combat the spread of COVID-19, which appear to include the suspension of online
gambling licenses.
The measures adopted Friday by the Latvian parliament are
meant to control the spread of the virus and to provide support mechanisms for
affected individuals and businesses.
