The Swedish government has expanded the remit of the Gambling Market Investigation Board (Spelmarknadsutredningen), directing it to investigate a range of options to limit gambling advertising, including the consequences of a partial or total ban.

Sweden’s online gaming industry association BOS has filed a complaint against former monopoly operator ATG, seeking access to its horse racing pools and requesting a fine of SEK500m (€47.7m) on the operator for abusing its dominant market position.
