Lotteries and gaming supplier GTECH has been selected by OPAP to provide its systems to connect up to 35,000 video lottery terminals (VLTs) for the Greek gaming operator’s new network.

Through its wholly-owned subsidiary GTECH Canada ULC, the company will deploy its INTELLIGEN Central Information System to OPAP, which has an exclusive ten-year licence to operate 35,000 VLTs in Greece.

GTECH was chosen from among four vendors in an open competitive procurement process to monitor and control up to 35,000 VLTs in OPAP’s planned new network.
