Germany’s Deutsche Sportlotterie (DSL) has secured an advertising permit and is now free to go live and begin marketing its offering, but will delay its official launch until January 2015.

The DSL will launch in January to coincide with the start of the second half of the 2014-15 Bundesliga season, after delays in receiving its advertising permit caused it to miss media booking deadlines for the Christmas period.

It is also considering whether to claim for damages for lost revenue as a result of the advertising permit delay.
