China’s lottery market has posted a year-on-year decline for the fourth consecutive month, as total sales in September fell by 10 per cent compared to the same period last year to RMB29.08bn (€4.23bn).

According to results published by the country’s Ministry of Finance, Welfare Lottery sales were down 11 per cent to RMB15.50bn, representing 53 per cent of total lottery sales during the month.
