Italian gaming regulator Agenzia delle Dogane e dei Monopoli (ADM) has provisionally awarded the concession for the Lotto game to a consortium led by IGT subsidiary Lottomatica.

The final award of the concession is expected to be made during the second quarter, with the contract to run for nine years.

IGT confirmed last month that it had entered into a consortium with Italian Gaming Holding (IGH), a subsidiary of Czech lottery operator SAZKA and investment vehicle Emma Capital, to bid for the Italian Lotto tender.
