Camelot Global Services, the sister company of UK national lottery operator Camelot, has launched an updated mobile application for the Irish National Lottery.

The enhanced app allows Irish customers to play a range of draw-based games such as Lotto, Euromillions and Daily Million, as well as instant win games.

It has been designed to build on the features that were available in the original incarnation of the app. Players will still be able to find game information on draw results; access jackpot reminder notifications and use a barcode scanning feature to check if they have a winning ticket.

As well as these existing features, the app will also allow players to access the newly-launched Money Multiplier series of instant win games.

With around 50 per cent of all online Irish National Lottery games played via the lottery's mobile website, Camelot hopes the revamped app will increase the distribution of lottery games to new and existing customers.

"We are really impressed with Camelot Global’s lean and agile approach to delivering all our digital requirements," Dermot Griffin, chief executive of the lottery operator Premier Lotteries Ireland said. "This strategy enables the National Lottery to meet the needs of its players and allows them to play anytime and anywhere.

"We look forward to continuing with our partnership as we continue to modernise and enhance the functionality of our mobile & online offering.”

Nigel Railton, CEO of Camelot Global commented: “I am pleased that we have been able to truly partner with Premier Lotteries Ireland and working together with Dermot Griffin and his team have delivered the next phase of their digital journey.

"The enhanced mobile App provides players with further ways to play the exciting games the Irish National Lottery has to offer."
