China’s lottery market recorded its fifth consecutive month of year-on-year growth in July, with total sales climbing 20 per cent to RMB32.40bn (€4.35bn).

This included a 38 per cent improvement in sales from the Sports Lottery, which rose to RMB15.78bn, while the Welfare Lottery saw sales increase by 7 per cent to RMB16.62bn, according to figures from the Ministry of Finance.
