Hong Kong-listed lottery supplier AGTech Holdings has entered into an agreement to utilise various channels and networks from its majority stakeholder Alibaba Holding for the sale and distribution of lottery products, including the use of the Chinese e-commerce giant’s online platform.

The framework agreement will allow AGTech expand its existing offline lottery business through the sale and distribution of lottery products through a number of Alibaba’s channels and networks, including physical stores located in urban, rural and village areas across China, as well as retail points of sales registered with Alibaba’s platforms.

As part of the arrangement, AGTech will be responsible for the marketing and operation of the lottery products, as well as the development and maintenance of the underlying systems and hardware.
