Lottery and gaming supplier Scientific Games has extended its long-running instant games supply contract with the Arizona Lottery for a further year.

The latest one-year extension continues a relationship between the companies which stretches back 36 years.

It will see the lottery continue to offer the supplier's instant games which include holographic games, the Scratch My Back series, and Ultimate Millions, its first $30 instant game.

Scientific Games  provides the lottery with a central gaming system and point-of-sale technology, which were rolled out last September for retailers. It also supplies branded content and powers the lottery's player loyalty programme.

"On behalf of the Arizona Lottery, we gladly continue our work with Scientific Games," Arizona Lottery executive director Gregg Edgar commented. "The company has been instrumental in helping the lottery maximize net revenue in a responsible manner to support Arizona programs for the public benefit.

"We look forward to more innovation coming to our instant product portfolio from Scientific Games."

"We remain dedicated to the Arizona Lottery to provide unique instant games for its players, and help the lottery in its overall mission to provide fun while giving back," Scientific Games vice president of instant products John Schulz added.

Scientific Games Corporation (Co.Data) (NQT:SGMS) closed up marginally by 0.46 per cent at US$21.75 per share in New York Monday.
