New-York listed gaming and lottery supplier Scientific Games has renewed its primary instant games contract with the Ohio Lottery Commission.

The two year extension continues a 16-year relationship and enables the Ohio Lottery to roll out new games such as Scientific Games' highly successful Willy Wonka Golden Ticket instant linked game.

The roll-out is due to take place in September, offering Ohio players the chance to win trips to Las Vegas in a bonus second-chance game, where they compete to take part in the Willy Wonka Billion Dollar Challenge for prizes ranging from $1,000 up to a $1bn annuity.

The extension also sees the Ohio Lottery launch Scientific Games' SalesMaker lottery retail development and training programme.

"We are honoured to continue working with the Ohio Lottery to grow instant game revenue, introducing exciting new games that appeal to players and that are supported by a best-in-class retail program," Scientific Games' senior vice president of interactive products John Schulz said.

Shares in Scientific Games Corporation (Co.Data) (NASDAQ:SGMS) closed in New York Wednesday up 0.14 per cent at $35.05 per share.
