The National Audit Office (NAO) has published the results of its investigation into the recent fall in National Lottery income for good causes, highlighting that Camelot's profits had been "proportionately greater" than increases in both lottery sales and returns for good causes.

The report was presented to the UK's Comptroller and Auditor General this week, with the investigation looking into concerns raised by the lottery's distributors since April 2016.

Among other concerns related to lottery distributors, this included the recent fall in lottery income generated for good causes.
