Lottoland Solutions, the B2B arm of lottery betting operator Lottoland, has agreed an exclusive deal with Playtech BGT Sports (PBS) to offer lottery betting in UK betting shops.

PBS will become the first retail provider to deliver Lottoland’s lottery betting products on its self-service betting terminals (SSBTs), spanning thousands of licensed betting shops in the UK operated by Ladbrokes Coral, Paddy Power, Betfred, Boylesports, and other independent bookmakers.

This will allow customers to place bets on the outcome of a range of international lotteries, with Lottoland currently operating a retail portfolio of more than 15 products.

“This exclusive distribution agreement with Lottoland allows us to add a wider range of lotto betting products with bigger jackpot payouts to our existing numbers portfolio – giving our customers further choice,” said John Pettit, managing director for UK, Ireland, Asia and Australia at Playtech BGT Sports.

“Bookmakers have offered bets on lottos for years as part of their numbers betting portfolio and it has been popular on our terminals for some time now, but we believe the innovation and customer service delivered by this partnership will take us a step further to becoming a one-stop shop for all betting operators and bookmakers.”

Lottoland Solutions director Michael Bogie added: “Our jackpot lotto betting products are popular across a range of markets and customers – we are excited to be providing these products to Playtech BGT Sports for their retail customers.

“PBS are at the forefront of innovation in the sector and our lotto betting will be a very popular addition to their self-service betting terminals.”
