Portugal’s regulated online betting and gaming market has recorded strong growth so far this year with gross gaming revenue (GGR) increasing by 44 per cent to €47.3m in the first quarter of 2019.
This marks the market’s best quarterly performance, with sports betting accounting for more than half of the Q1 total with GGR of €24.7m, up 43 per cent year-on-year.
